Beach Day Passes for Cruise Guests
Blue Island Divers is perfect for a mixed group of divers, snorkelers, and those who prefer to lounge with a cocktail! Book a Cruise Guest Lounge with Your Diver Day Pass for members of your group who want to enjoy a relaxing day on shore. Day Pass guests can lounge with us on our private beach and pier. Swim, snorkel, and order from our beach bar, enjoy lounge chairs, hammocks, picnic tables, game area, showers, and gift shop. The cost of your day pass is usable towards beer, soft drinks and tropical cocktails from our beautiful beachfront bar.
Understand Your Cruise Port in Roatan
If you are confused about the difference between the cruise ship ports on Roatan, you are not alone!
The Port of Roatan is the primary cruise port on Roatan. It is located in the center of Coxen Hole, a 10-15 minute drive from Blue Island Divers in Sandy Bay. It can also be called, Coxen Hole Port, Town Center Port, and Roatan Village Port. These names all refer to the same place. It can accommodate 3 cruise ships at once, and permits transportation partners to enter for easy pickup and dropoff. Our cruise ship packages all include round trip transportation to the Port of Roatan.
Mahogany Bay Cruise Terminal is located about 4 miles east of Coxen Hole, a 20-minute drive from Blue Island Divers and is owned by Carnival Princess Corporation. We are unable to provide guest pickup at Mahogany Bay because Carnival only permits tour operators and taxi drivers who are licensed with Carnival to enter the port area for guest pickup. When you arrive at Mahogany Bay, you can easily dive or snorkel with us by taking a taxi to the dive center in Sandy Bay. Mahogany passengers should book activities that do not include transportation fees. When arriving, simply proceed to the taxi stand at the entrance of the port area and ask to be taken to Blue Island Divers in Sandy Bay (you can tell your driver we are located near the BIP petrol station). They do permit guest drop-off at the port, so we will be happy to arrange a taxi back to the ship after your dive or snorkel excursion.
